Redesigned Design

Industrial designer Christoph Behling has ingeniously recreated and updated the Geberit Sigma50 actuation plate. Although the external proportions and button sizes remain unchanged, the new plate highlights its surface with a greater sense of lightness. The designer has deliberately removed the metal borders, making the plate appear to float in the air in front of the wall.

The materials are meticulously crafted, as seen in the details. The safety glass edges are not straight but have been carefully rounded. The two dual-flush aluminum buttons are slightly curved, giving them a modern and contemporary look. The brushed and polished finishes on the button edges demonstrate the great care taken in material craftsmanship.

Minimal Thickness

Once installed, the new Geberit Sigma50 plate protrudes only 13.5 mm from the wall. This actuation plate is available in white, black, chocolate, brushed chrome, and many other colors.
